If it’s not Battle at Skunk Skull that this feed will end up being all about, it will have to be something I’ve been calling “Ben”. I talk a little bit about that plot and about who I’ve always imagined Ben to be. I might just have a connection and will be figuring that out in the next few weeks.
I speak a little bit about the Blu-ray production progress or lack of progress and then move onto the frustration of not having any way of knowing if Groupers is performing on Amazon.
It’s the last show of 2019 and all the big Oscar hopefuls are flooding the theaters. The final few films that will be trickling in over the last couple weeks are covered and a bunch that have been seen since last episode are blathered about.
We got into a discussion about The Lighthouse right after the show ended. Huge regret for not including this. It will get it’s due on the episode 110.
I spoke with the distributor about how things are going and what happened with Canada. Also have some updates on the Blu-ray production, not great news, but not terrible either. I get a little heavy at the end, thought about cutting it, then thought that would be dishonest.
I’ve wanted to do this for a while now and figured this was a great time to do so. Last day of vacation and I wanted to single out a very select few people who have been there for just about every step. I’m sure I left a couple people off the list and I’m sorry if that’s you.
Back home next week and ready to get back to work.
Anderson is out if town, but that doesn’t stop these 2 from covering the first 2 weeks of December as well as the best films they’ve seen since the last time they talked at you.
