Flick City Episode 5: Interviews With Sidney Flanigan, Talia Ryder, And Katharine O’Brien

On Episode 5 of “Flick City,” actress Sidney Flanigan talks about finding the courage to play the lead role of Autumn in “Never Rarely Sometimes Always.” Co-star Talia Ryder talks about her love for “Little Miss Sunshine” and “Witness for the Prosecution.” Both actresses have a bright future ahead of them (and they’re both terrific in the film). Movie is now playing in New York and Los Angeles and goes wide April 3.

Director Katharine O’Brien picks “Chinatown” as her favorite film, and she explains why director John Cassavetes was an influence in her feature “Lost Transmissions.” Los Angeles set film, now out in theaters and On Demand, stars Simon Pegg and Juno Temple.

I briefly touch on underrated actress Rhonda Fleming. Several of her credits (“The Killer is Loose,” “Gunfight at the O.K. Corral” and “Simply Scarlet” are discussed as we close out the episode!
